Reading daily is one of the most important things you can do with your child. If you run out of books to read, you can access a large range of free books online at Oxford Owls.
Alongside this, we recommend that the children continue to practice their spellings and times tables.

Home Learning
- Reading – please read at least three times a week with your child and make a comment in their Reading Diary. Your child will be able to change their reading book on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week.
Here are some fun websites that will also support your child’s learning at home:
For English: practise your grammar by sorting verbs, nouns and adjectives; punctuate sentences, making sure that your capital letters and full stops are in the correct places.
For Maths: practise doubling and halving numbers; see if you can beat the clock and quickly recall your numbers bonds.
