School Meals
From September 2021, Nourish became the new catering provider for Coopers Lane Primary.
Nourish believes the use of good quality ingredients in homemade cooking is the real recipe for success. The Nourish team work with chefs in the kitchens and children in the classroom to develop new meals that everyone will enjoy.
Nourish menus change in line with the seasons to bring fresh and vibrant options whatever the weather. Alongside this, they work closely with our school to run themed weeks and special promotional days in accordance with the school curriculum. They will also work with our school council, arranging taster days to sample new possible dishes for the upcoming menu and provide Nourish with feedback.
Nourish’s menu is fully compliant with School Food Standards and they take pride in providing nutritious but tasty food. Follow the link for their welcome video and take a look at their current menus and newsletters – Nourish Welcome Video.
How are the lunch times supervised?
There are always at least 5 adults in the hall supervising the children as they eat, watching over packed lunch children as well as school dinners.
Children are encouraged to eat all of their lunch, however if they really don’t want to, they will be encouraged to eat as much as they can. If a child is reluctant to eat over a period of days their parents will be informed. Children are not allowed to start with their pudding and skip the main course.
